Comments: Hi from a former MCIFA member (1994 I believe). Still a big fan of Michael (such that my friends tease me endlessly, and I proudly admit my fandom). I love his work from Some Mothers to now. I've been listening to Michael's voice for over 15 years and it never fails to make me smile. Thank you for giving the world the chance to hear your wonderful music and for sharing your talent with us all. And thank you for all you do make our world better. Keep on singing!

Comments: Dear Mr. Crawford, All I can say about you is wow! You are abolutly beautiful, no one can sing like that and not be beautiful. Some one really smart told me that once when I was very young. I sing, some, and I just wanted to let you know that you inspired me to sing and I thank you.

Comments: This girl Sarah Afshar recently covered Think of Me and Music of the Night on the Phantom of the Opera and let's just say, her rendition was better than Sarah Brightman's but does not even compare to how Michael Crawford's rendition of Music of the Night is. There is no one on earth that can cover that song as good as he can. He was his own genius.

Comments: Hi Michael, It feels wonderful to be contacting you after being a fan for so long. I hope you get to read some of the comments on this page and know how much you are loved and respected for your work. I have watched you in London in Billy, Flowers for Algernon, Phantom and Woman in White and think you are the world's best musical theatre artist. Billy is my all time favourite and I still sing some of the numbers to myself after all these years! I have to echo the previous comment though. We miss you here in the UK and I very much hope you will come back here to stay - in the meantime I hope we will see you here performing again very soon. Warmest of wishes, Hilary x

Comments: G'd day to you, I just wanted to say a quick hello to you Michael and to say a huge thank you for all what you do for the many charities you support; you are such a wonderful person. It’s been a few years now since you took that well disserved sip from my wine glass at the stage door of the Victoria Palace after your brilliant performance in Barnum that night. I didn’t even tell Geoff or Andy this... but I took the glass home with me, lol. It still sits very proudly on my shelf. Have a wonderful Birthday. Hope to catch you in concert again real soon…… Take care of yourself. Warmest Regards, Alison Hall

Comments: Mr. Crawford, As I sit in my room, not being able to sleep (as is obvious since it is 1:30 am) I am watching Hello Dolly, one of my favorite movies by the way. I can't help remembering when my mom first gave me the Ultimate Broadway cd set when I was about 9 or 10. Being so young, I only listened to the songs I knew, until I hit Music of the Night. As soon as I heard your wonderful voice, I ran to my parent's room, to find who it was, my mom said, "why Micheal Crawford of course" since then I have known I want to sing. I always liked to sing, but hearing that song, listening to it over and over again just lit something inside me. Ever since, when people ask me my "heros or idols", I say as a joke, Will Smith and the girl who delivers flowers to my house, and of course they say "no seriously" and my serious answer is, My parents first and fore most, and Micheal Crawford. Thank you so much for inspiring me, and many of my friends! ~Lauren~

Comments: Hello Michael, I was extremely glad when I got to see you preform in Thousand Oaks. It changed my life. My heart was racing and I was completely shaking all over before you came on. When I saw you walk on stage I pretty much disolved. You have made an indescribable impact on my life. I love hearing you sing every night. For years I have been obsessing over you and every day I love you more. My dream came true and I say you live. My next dream is to meet you in person. I will be attending the concert in Long Beach, too. I'll also have Orchestra seating! I really hope I get to meet you. Your beautiful voice has moved me to tears. I'm ready to follow you around the world getting to as much of your concerts as possible. You make the world so much of a better place. Thank you for making my young life magical, joyful, and worth wild. See you in Long Beach.

However, I think the best way to find out if there is one is to click on the 'Contact the MCIFA' link so you can ask the people in charge of the website if they have any knowledge on the subject at all.

Comments: I'll admit right away I'm not a fan, although I've heard of Mr. Crawford since the early 1980s when he starred in Phantom Of The Opera on Broadway. My first real exposure to his talent was on the 1991 DVD "Ghosts Of Christmas Eve" starring The Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Since then, his rendition of "O Holy Night" from that DVD has become one of my all-time favorite Christmas songs. A little research surprised me when I found out his career goes back to the late 50s.

Comments: Hi Michael

Just to wish you a very happy Chrsitmas and a great new year. I hope you will have company and not be spending it alone as you did in your book parcel arrived tied with string. I am sure you can always drop in on friends in the fanclub.

Sadly I am working Chrsitmas Eve, Christmas day, and Boxing day as I work as a nurse on a ward the very acute mentally ill and Christmas always see's the ward busy with those who are depressed and attempt to commit suicide, as it is not always a happy time for some as there are many who do not feel loved or are very alone and feel it more at this time of year so we are always full at this time of year.

I shall raise a glass to wish you a happy Chrsitmas after shift on Christmas day. And I shall raise another glass to you again on New Years day for a great New year.

Hope the new year will be a good one for you and that 2007 may see more of you in the UK there may be fewer of us fans over here but we have lots of love.

Keep up the god work and please release another CD soon and a DVD of a few of your shows and concerts would be nice as we in the UK don't get to see or hear them.

Love Jackie.

Comments: hi michael! you have no idea how much i love your phantom of the opera singing!i'm so happy that you do those things for so many charities.my brother has cancer, and we've learned that its great to give back.i wish that i had been alive when you were on broadway because it would have been so much better than just having to listen to you voice. i have a few questions for you: why are the words for music of the night on the tape different than the words on the cd? it just puzzles me because on the tape, your voice is much more flowing. is broad way fun? i really wish that someday i could be performing in a broadway musical professionally. it would be so cool! thanks for your time, and i hope you read this.

sincerely, amanda h.

p.s. you are the only phantom that sings the part the way it should be.

Comments: Hmmm...I discovered Michael Crawford in the Poto ORC...And I fell in love with Michael ever since! I listen to him everyday. All my friends know who Michael is just by me talking about him constantly. My Tenor Saxophone's name is even Erik Michael Crawford! I'm saving up some money to get a MCIFA membership. My friend and I came up with a list of how Michael Crawford is better than Gerard Butler (MC won by a loooooooong shot!)

Michael Crawford is Simply amazing. I cant tell you how much he's brought me back to life. I was in the middle of a terrible Family incident. I became depressed for a while. But Michael's sweet, intoxicating voice gave me another reason to wake up in the morning and go to school...I just want to say Thank you for all you did and will do. You are one heck of a person.

Happy days! -Jamie

Comments: Dear Michael~ I was about fifteen when I first heard Phantom of the Opera. I originally watched the movie version and then bought the Broadway soundtrack. Your voice captivated me from the start, particularly Music of the Night, but I didn't really 'discover' you until I was surfing Youtube one day. I was on a hunt for Julie Andrews videos, and I came across a PBS special of you and Julie singing a medley from My Fair Lady. I thought, "oh my God, who IS that adorable Brit with the powerhouse voice??" Needless to say I did a bit more research, put two and two together, and have been a tremendous fan ever since. Now I have two things on my Christmas list... your "Favorite Love Songs" album and a membership to your fan association. Your voice is absolutely INCREDIBLE... my favorite song of all time, from what I've heard, is your version of "Love Changes Everything". I saw it (where else) on Youtube, and there is such power and emotion there... I adore it. I am desperately hoping to get to a concert of yours in the near future to hear you sing live... it would be a dream come true. Yours, Laurel

Although I was unable to continue with that after five years, I still follow your career, and remember fondly how generous the fan club was to exceptional children in my community. I hope you'll perform in Montgomery, Alabama sometime. We have the fith largest Shakespeare Festival in the world not far from where I live, and I'm sure they'd be happy to accomodate you, and any performance you choose to give, whether musical or non-musical. As it is September 29th, I'd like to wish you a happy Michaelmas Day,part of which I spent listening to a recording of "Panis Angelicus" by a certain ex-choirboy who bears the Archangel's name. All my best wishes!

I am 12 now and your music has pursuaded me to take my life and gear it towards music. I either want to sing in The Phantom of the Opera, or play in it with my trumpet. You have had a major impact on my life. I just wish that you never stopped playin the Phantom because you were so good and i have listened to clips of your recent concert and I still think that you could play the part again. You still and always will have the voice of the Angel of Music. I love you!
