I saw you in Cleveland, Ohio, in concert, "The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber," after which I placed membership. I also have several of your CD's and a couple of videos. I tell everyon about your astounding vocal talent--which is indescribable on "Gethsemane"; my stepson and daughter-in-law saw you in Vegas in EFX, because I told them they HAD to.

One of my "birth" son's and my most cherised piece of memorabilia is the picture of him as Phantom (for Halloween--complete with vacuum in the pic) which you signed and sent back to us with a note. (You said that it was a very nice vacuum cleaner.)

He now is 24 with 2 children of his own, and he, too, tells everyone about your voice and disliked (a lot) the Phantom in the recently-released movie. He would not rest until his wife got to hear you on my CD. (I've watched the movie so much that I've accepted Gerard Butler's "Phantom," but I didn't initially; and by far, I'd prefer you.)

I am very sorry about your health problems and will be praying for you. I know exactly how frustrating it is for someone who is so active to not be able to do the things so important to him/her, being in that boat myself.

Not to say this is true of you, of course; but for me getting older has been a tremendous adjustment.

Ta ta for now--just wanted you to know that I'm still a fan (my son, too) and one of your volunteer publicity agents after more than a decade, even though, formally, I've been out of the loop.

If you actually read this, just know that I am a huge Phan! I absolutely adore your voice, and as it happens, a version of Phantom recently took up residence in my head, and he likes to sing to me. You truely are my Angel of Music. Thank you for gracing the Broadway stage with your presence, and gracing my ears with the sound of your voice coming through my speakers/headphones. If you ever read this, come see a Boulder High theatre guild production, It would truely make us feel loved, and you would enjoy it!

well, I'm an 18 year old fan from California. When I was little I remember seeing Hello Dolly. cornelius was my favorite character. Now I am a huge Phantom phan, and I just really like Michael Crawford's voice. plus, it's great to see someone who can be serious and hilarious. I had become a fan of yours because of the Phantom of the Opera movie with Gerard Butler. I thought he had only technique no spirit or soul. I was curious about the Broadway cast that I heard so much about in my early twenties. I had bought the cds I was shocked, impressed with your hypnotic voice.I have become a fan since December 2004. I think Andrew Lloyd Webber should have hired you as the Phantom in the movie.

I love your song Gethsemane, very powerful, dramatic, you have amazing voice.

Finally managed to find a guestbook where I could leave some nice comments about you. Just want you to know how much I admire your music and how much we enjoy watching your movies here in Malta, esp "Some mothers do ave'em" , "Condorman", "Hello Dolly" and many others. In Canada they are doing the Musical version the Lord of the Rings, I think you would be perfect as Gandolf the Gray, the wizard.

I am writing you due to the fact that I highly admire your voice. You inspired me to join my school choir and I found singing to be a most enjoyable and passionate subject. I always listen to Broadway and Opera, but I am very truthful when I say that you have the most perfect voice I have ever heard. I guess I thought you were due to some credit for introducing me to the love of music, so thank you. It wasn't very easy to find a place to contact you, due to the fact that there are so many Michael Crawfords. Actually, I just made a HUGE mistake and emailed a Schizophrenia support group with a leader by the name of Michael Crawford. That might come back to haunt me.

I do too wish The Original London Cast POTO was ones in the movie, POTO lacked heart, soul and real talent.If The Original London Cast could make their own version it would soar the limit in sales. You are the real Phantom anyone else just a man in the mask.

I'm so mad you weren't in POTO movie. I been listening to you since my mom bought the album in the early 90's. Everytime I see it on broadway, its always dissappointing because I expect to hear you voice. I think its one that would be impossible to duplicate. Also the movie was horrible without you as the role. Gerald made the phantom not seem as human, likeable, and powerful as you.

I've never seen you live, only small clips as the phantom on websites. Is there anything of you as the phantom, a fully recorded broadway performance? If I can't see you live, I really hope/wish to see you when you did play phantom. A release of that would far outsell the movie ALW made. I did see clips of you, and also Sarah at the graveyard scene and wonder why they didn't do the movie then, it would of been great.

If there is anyway to get a copy email me I will gladly pay whatever for it.

If ALW & JS does give you role, take it if they pay you alot of money. Remember their POTO lost money. If they had you in proper role of the Phantom you would have gotten an oscar nomination or an oscar for best actor.Their movie would made alot more if you were the Phantom commands everyone with his Angel of Music.

I wish and hope all doors will open up for you whether it is movie, tv,music, stage.

Maybe someday AWL&JS will crawl on their hands and knees, and they will beg and plead in vain to offer you the best role possible in a movie.
