| Comments: | Hello! I'm from Denmark and right now Phantom is runing again at "Det Ny Teater" (The New Theatre) and I went to see it (of course) - and even though the cast did a wonderful job and the lyrics are well translated, it's just not the same as listening to the original cast recording - the main difference being Mr. Crawford. So that's why I just wanted to pop by (as countless others have done) and say hello and thanks for everything, Michael! I've bought several of your albums and I hope one day you might come to Denmark :-) (?) Also a thanks to the wonderful MCIFA! Sincerly, Rebecca xxx |

| Comments: | Hello "Frank" I came to like your personality after watching some mothers do 'ave em tv series as a child. I was unhappy when it wasn't aired anymore.Only to hear from rumours that you died in a plane crash after a documentary you did in Angola. You can imagine my joy when I discovered that you have not only a fan website but u are still very much alive. You have a gigantic fan base in Nigeria and I sure bet you that everyone would want to see you perform someday. Whatever the case, I am your biggest fan. |

| Comments: | Dearest Mr. Crawford, I have been a fan of yours since I was a little girl. Your music has had the most profound effect upon my life! Growing up I completely immersed myself in your music, entranced by something I couldn't name. I think all these years later I have finally figured out what it is that makes you such an amazing performer and what has made me such an ardent fan! It isn't just the beautiful sound of your voice that makes you successful, it is the heart and enthusiasm that you put into everything that you do! Every single piece of music that I have ever heard you sing was filled with your heart and soul! You never do a half job! You always give everything your all and put all of yourself into it and it really shows! You always make the audience feel exactly what your character feels because there is so much raw emotion in your performances! What an amazing gift! That is very rare and you are the best at it! Your enthusiasm and love for what you do is also very evident when you perform as well and to tell the truth, it was you and your emotion, enthusiasm, and your magical voice that inspired me to want to be an actress as a little girl! My whole life that was what I wanted to be. Well it never worked out, but now I'm working on starting a career as a voiceover artist, hopefully recording books, commercials, etc. and though it isn't theater, you still inspire me! Thank you so much for a lifetime full of beautiful music and magical memories! Your friend, Katie Z. |

| Comments: | Mr. Crawford I have been a fan of yours since I was 14 years old. When I first got my hands on the original Broadway cast album of The Phantom of the Opera, I recognized your name as that silly man, Cornelius Hackl, from Hello,Dolly! A personal favorite. I couldn't imagine that adorable little voice from that movie being powerful enough to carry the role of the emotionally shattered character of the Phantom. I was definitely shown how wrong I could be. I could hear the pain and suffering in your voice when you reached out to Christine with your love. I could also feel the anger that you had towards everyone that had hurt you in the past. I could feel the happiness and relief that you had whenever Christine was near you. I knew that nothing could ever be the same after I was opened up to this beautiful piece of artwork that I had in front of me. I wanted to physically see what you had to offer this character, so I went to my trusty youtube to help me out. And, oh my God, your hands! You have the most beautiful hands! Your hands would reach out to her with all of the longing and pain in the world. It was all so beautiful. I've seen random interviews of you and you seem to be the most kind and caring and beautiful person that I've ever seen. One wish that I have is to eventually meet you sometime in my lifetime and talk with you one on one. I'm sure that by the time I would be with you, I'd forget how to speak! I would just love to thank you for everything that you've done for me. I'm sure you would have no idea how much you have done for me. All I can say is that you've changed my life. For the better, don't worry. :) -Emily- |

| Comments: | Dearest Michael: I just wanted to post in you guest book to wish you a lovely day. Today is your sixty seventh birthday. I hope you enjoy this lovely day. From the past years. I have listened to your performance of Erik. You have introduced me to broadway. If it hadn't been for you. I'd be listening to rock or some other horrible music. *laughs* Anyway my dear friend. I do hope you enjoy today while it lasts. I've heard one of your daughters sing on your albums, she's really good. Michael. I enjoy listening to your soothing voice. And, I'm only eighteen years of age. You are amazing! You were my first singer when I was five years old. Anywho. I know I'm rambling. Andrew did a good job picking who would be Erik. You were amazing. Take care Dearest Michael. Happy Birthday once again! ^^ - Lauren. |

| Comments: | Mr. Crawford, It was around a year ago when I wrote on here for the very first time. Since then, I have had the pleasure of hearing many more of the songs you have done because I received most of your albums as recent holiday gifts. I cannot begin to explain to you what your voice has meant to me and how much it has affected my life for the better. In times when I am feeling down for whatever reason, your voice is the only music powerful and moving enough to bring me out of it. In times when I doubt God?s existence, all I have to do is listen to you sing, because a voice like yours could only be a gift from him. Many things have changed between now and when I last wrote on here, but one thing remains the same ? I still believe you have the greatest voice of any singer that has ever lived. Thank you so much for everything and happy birthday. |

| Comments: | I was 13 when I was introduced to "Phantom" by my older sister and her music teacher. I only knew Michael Crawford to be that sexy, talented and tortured soul known as Erik. I fell in love with the voice and the story. Cinderella was my favorite fairy tale as a child. As an adult, the fairy tale of Erik and Christine is my favorite. Then I learned more about Michael himself. What a wonderful man to get to know! I was so shocked when I found out how incredibly funny he is. I never laughed so hard in my life. His soothing, yet confident, voice has kept me calm and inspired me at some very crucial times in my life. For example, I listened to him to relax me when I was on my way to take my state boards for my nursing license. It worked. I passed the first time. I am so grateful to my sister for repeatedly playing her practice tapes. I would love nothing more than to meet this great man. I hope that one day I have that opportunity. My niece will be in London and Kent this July. Maybe she will get the chance that I have waited for for 20 years. Have a very wonderful, safe and happy New Year Michael! I have bought the original cast CD and I was just amazed by Michael's voice. I am only 17 and before seeing the Phantom of the Opera I guess you can say I was the typical teenager, just listening to the modern day hard rock music, but this musical, this whole production made me really wake up to the world and appreciate the small things I have in life and just amazed by everything I see now. Thank you Michael, so so much for developing this character into who he is, thank you so much for giving me a whole new respect for the whole theatre industry and the love I now have for life. Thank you so much. |
