Comments: Michael Crawford, what can I say. I've read your book, watched your concerts. You are a very special, talented man and so unaffected. My grandson is six and has started watching reruns of Some mothers do have them. I have never seen him laugh so much. Could you please advise when you are planning to come back to Australia? We would love to see you live in concert. It doesn't matter where you would be performimg. We would travel. All the very best and thank you for being you. Best Regards Helen

Comments: Hi Michael,

I would first like to wish you a happy new year mate. Just like to say that i have admired your work for a long time.I got brought up on some mothers do ave em as my mum & dad were such huge fans of yours & the show.I still watch the show now when it is televised & split my sides laughing at it. I just wish i could have come & seen you in phantom but was only 11 years old when phantom first went to the stage but i know someone who did come to see you while you were performing in London & they said you were excellent as the phantom. i have your autobiography which is a brill read, i thoroughly enjoyed it from front cover to back cover.I also have your in concert cd which i listen to a lot, your singing always brightens up my day. You have a fantastic voice Michael, you put so much feeling into your singing & i also feel the energy coming from you when you do sing. You are an inspiration to me as i sing myself, i only sing in the pubs & local clubs & i always give 110% like yourself & enjoy every minute of it. I would love to tread the boards to do some acting aswel as it is something i have always wanted to do from a young age but never done it. But since listening to your music & reading your book, it has made me determined to do a bit of dramatics & beings now that i am 32, i am not getting any younger, ha ha! When are you coming back to England to do some concerts here? Everybody misses you here & would love to see you come back again to do some concert dates & i would love to come & see you in concert as have'nt seen you yet on stage & would really enjoy listening to your music.

May i just take this oppurtunity to say thank you for inspiring me in my music & finaly making the decision to tread the boards

thank you

Take care Michael & all the best for the future & i would just like to say congratulations on such a fantastic career.

Mark

Comments: Happy Belated Birthday Greetings, Michael! I have three requests that I would like you to consider: (1) please make another Christmas CD. I play yours sooooo much!; (2) record a CD of all Irish tunes; and (3) record a new CD of "Barnum" since I can't seem to get it anywhere....you should also include the music of your musicals "Barnum" and "Billy" in your concerts. Your true fans will recognize them! You're the BEST! Have a great 2007!

Comments: This girl Sarah Afshar recently covered Think of Me and Music of the Night on the Phantom of the Opera and let's just say, her rendition was better than Sarah Brightman's but does not even compare to how Michael Crawford's rendition of Music of the Night is. There is no one on earth that can cover that song as good as he can. He was his own genius.

I hope you get to read some of the comments on this page and know how much you are loved and respected for your work. I have watched you in London in Billy, Flowers for Algernon, Phantom and Woman in White and think you are the world's best musical theatre artist. Billy is my all time favourite and I still sing some of the numbers to myself after all these years! I have to echo the previous comment though. We miss you here in the UK and I very much hope you will come back here to stay - in the meantime I hope we will see you here performing again very soon. Warmest of wishes, Hilary x

It’s been a few years now since you took that well disserved sip from my wine glass at the stage door of the Victoria Palace after your brilliant performance in Barnum that night. I didn’t even tell Geoff or Andy this... but I took the glass home with me, lol. It still sits very proudly on my shelf. Have a wonderful Birthday. Hope to catch you in concert again real soon…… Take care of yourself. Warmest Regards, Alison Hall

Comments: Mr. Crawford, As I sit in my room, not being able to sleep (as is obvious since it is 1:30 am) I am watching Hello Dolly, one of my favorite movies by the way. I can't help remembering when my mom first gave me the Ultimate Broadway cd set when I was about 9 or 10. Being so young, I only listened to the songs I knew, until I hit Music of the Night. As soon as I heard your wonderful voice, I ran to my parent's room, to find who it was, my mom said, "why Micheal Crawford of course" since then I have known I want to sing. I always liked to sing, but hearing that song, listening to it over and over again just lit something inside me. Ever since, when people ask me my "heros or idols", I say as a joke, Will Smith and the girl who delivers flowers to my house, and of course they say "no seriously" and my serious answer is, My parents first and fore most, and Micheal Crawford. Thank you so much for inspiring me, and many of my friends! ~Lauren~

Comments: I'll admit right away I'm not a fan, although I've heard of Mr. Crawford since the early 1980s when he starred in Phantom Of The Opera on Broadway. My first real exposure to his talent was on the 1991 DVD "Ghosts Of Christmas Eve" starring The Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Since then, his rendition of "O Holy Night" from that DVD has become one of my all-time favorite Christmas songs. A little research surprised me when I found out his career goes back to the late 50s.

Comments: Hi Michael

Just to wish you a very happy Chrsitmas and a great new year. I hope you will have company and not be spending it alone as you did in your book parcel arrived tied with string. I am sure you can always drop in on friends in the fanclub.

Sadly I am working Chrsitmas Eve, Christmas day, and Boxing day as I work as a nurse on a ward the very acute mentally ill and Christmas always see's the ward busy with those who are depressed and attempt to commit suicide, as it is not always a happy time for some as there are many who do not feel loved or are very alone and feel it more at this time of year so we are always full at this time of year.

I shall raise a glass to wish you a happy Chrsitmas after shift on Christmas day. And I shall raise another glass to you again on New Years day for a great New year.

Hope the new year will be a good one for you and that 2007 may see more of you in the UK there may be fewer of us fans over here but we have lots of love.

Keep up the god work and please release another CD soon and a DVD of a few of your shows and concerts would be nice as we in the UK don't get to see or hear them.

Love Jackie.

Comments: hi michael! you have no idea how much i love your phantom of the opera singing!i'm so happy that you do those things for so many charities.my brother has cancer, and we've learned that its great to give back.i wish that i had been alive when you were on broadway because it would have been so much better than just having to listen to you voice. i have a few questions for you: why are the words for music of the night on the tape different than the words on the cd? it just puzzles me because on the tape, your voice is much more flowing. is broad way fun? i really wish that someday i could be performing in a broadway musical professionally. it would be so cool! thanks for your time, and i hope you read this.

sincerely, amanda h.

p.s. you are the only phantom that sings the part the way it should be.

Comments: Hmmm...I discovered Michael Crawford in the Poto ORC...And I fell in love with Michael ever since! I listen to him everyday. All my friends know who Michael is just by me talking about him constantly. My Tenor Saxophone's name is even Erik Michael Crawford! I'm saving up some money to get a MCIFA membership. My friend and I came up with a list of how Michael Crawford is better than Gerard Butler (MC won by a loooooooong shot!)

Michael Crawford is Simply amazing. I cant tell you how much he's brought me back to life. I was in the middle of a terrible Family incident. I became depressed for a while. But Michael's sweet, intoxicating voice gave me another reason to wake up in the morning and go to school...I just want to say Thank you for all you did and will do. You are one heck of a person.

Happy days! -Jamie
