| Comments: | Dear Michael~ I was about fifteen when I first heard Phantom of the Opera. I originally watched the movie version and then bought the Broadway soundtrack. Your voice captivated me from the start, particularly Music of the Night, but I didn't really 'discover' you until I was surfing Youtube one day. I was on a hunt for Julie Andrews videos, and I came across a PBS special of you and Julie singing a medley from My Fair Lady. I thought, "oh my God, who IS that adorable Brit with the powerhouse voice??" Needless to say I did a bit more research, put two and two together, and have been a tremendous fan ever since. Now I have two things on my Christmas list... your "Favorite Love Songs" album and a membership to your fan association. Your voice is absolutely INCREDIBLE... my favorite song of all time, from what I've heard, is your version of "Love Changes Everything". I saw it (where else) on Youtube, and there is such power and emotion there... I adore it. I am desperately hoping to get to a concert of yours in the near future to hear you sing live... it would be a dream come true. Yours, Laurel |

Although I was unable to continue with that after five years, I still follow your career, and remember fondly how generous the fan club was to exceptional children in my community. I hope you'll perform in Montgomery, Alabama sometime. We have the fith largest Shakespeare Festival in the world not far from where I live, and I'm sure they'd be happy to accomodate you, and any performance you choose to give, whether musical or non-musical. As it is September 29th, I'd like to wish you a happy Michaelmas Day,part of which I spent listening to a recording of "Panis Angelicus" by a certain ex-choirboy who bears the Archangel's name. | Comments: | Dear Mr. Crawford, I think that i have written before and i just have to tell you that you are my idol and i have been listening to ur music for a while now (The Phantom of the Opera)...My dream was to see you perfrom but the sad thing is that you stopped doing the Phantom before i was born. I am 12 now and your music has pursuaded me to take my life and gear it towards music. I either want to sing in The Phantom of the Opera, or play in it with my trumpet. You have had a major impact on my life. I just wish that you never stopped playin the Phantom because you were so good and i have listened to clips of your recent concert and I still think that you could play the part again. Even my family think i'm a bit weird but whats wrong with being different, i learnt not to judge from Phantom so i am now my own person and won't change for anyone. Alot of peoples voices don't stay as good through the years but from the days of Hello, dolly! to the present day your voice is still wonderful!

| Comments: | Dear Michael~ LOL you are so clueless..........grin! I cannot begin to tell you how much you,your music and your generosity has touched our lives. My daughter Lauren 11, lives with a life threatening illness called Rett Syndrome, there is no cure nor treatment at the present time,her life expectancy is unknown, she is unable to walk or talk and is permanentlly homebound from school due to a low immune system. She is, however, able to understand what is said to her. I believe her first love, lol, next to her Mom of course, is music. The expressions on her face are pure magic, what a beautiful sight I truly wish that you could see. Lauren does vocalize in her own way and when she hears your music well..........I tell her she's going to be an opera singer too:-) She's my little star in such a big way, also my Hero!!! Please know that Lauren was also the recipient of a project Linus afghan and dearly loves it, so very special to her. Thank you and all who contribute to such a worthy and wonderful cause......you have brought love and comfort to a very special little girl.....

| Comments: | Hello!!! I'm not the biggest Phantom fan, or the oldest, but I still call myself the #1 POTO lover.(Please nobody kill me, the title is sharable!) I'm 16 and I've been singing proffessional operatic voice since I was nine. My mum's had several ALW recorded collections, which I liked but never flipped out about until in 8th grade my gifted English teacher read an excerpt from... you guessed it, POTO! I officially flipped out. First i bought the book. Then came the Sarah Brightman/ Micheal Crawford version CD, then the Robert Englund 1989 version of the film and so on. |

I have been to see every appearance you have made in Queensland for the last 10 years and I have also been fortunate enough to meet you in person. I saw the phantom the first week it appeared on the West End. It became my favourite musical. I also became a MC fan. No one else deserved to play the phantom in te film. Shame on you Hollywood....

| Comments: | Mr. Crawford, I have read many of these comments and I agree with everybody when they say you are inspiring, gracious, kind, and of course, VERY talented! I only wish I was around to see you perform in Phantom of the Opera! I fall asleep listening to you singing Music of the Night every night to help me go to sleep. When i hear you sing I fell like I have no problems and everything is right. So whenever I'm upset I turn on your CD and listen to it. I LOVE Gethesmane!!! But it does make me cry a little! Will you ever perform in Orlando or in Florida at all? Because if you do I am DEFINATELY going to one of your performances! My mom says she is willing to pay whatever it costs to see you perform! I love how you really "get into" the songs when you perform! Thats one of the things that makes a true artist! Its always been a dream of mine to meet you! Even when I was little I would watch Hello Dolly and dance to "It takes a woman". I would march around the house and sing at the top of my lungs! Me and my friend Stephanie and my couzin Ashley are the only 12 and 13 year olds I know that are obsessed with your music! You are truly my angel of music!

I've always had the fondest memories of you as a child (I'm now 34) So my first was in 'some mothers' Unfortunatly I was never able to see you preform live, I have just read your biography which at moment moved me to tears and others giggling like a fruit cake. My Mum died when I was 16 (I fully understand how you felt when you lost your mum)I remember she was such a fan of yours we used to sit and watch every week, I was so small but we would just laugh and laugh, I have a 14 year old son with ADHD who suffers from a lot of the type of thing you did as a boy, I just hope that he can eventually channel his energies well... anyway in the hope that you do read this can I just say cos I'm babbling on....Thankyou for all you've given to everyone your career has touched me with all your incredible versitile talent has given the industry, film, TV and Theatre so much. |

| Comments: | Dear Michael Crawford, When I saw the movie, "Phantom of the Opera" last year I became so engrossed in the music and the production. Then, I searched on the Internet and found the original cast of the show with you and Sarah Brightman and I thought the music was so much better then the movie cast. I thought you and Sarah Brightman just had divine voices and I can never get enough of the music. Every time I listen to the music it just inspires me and makes me feel as If Im a part of it.Even though, I am only a teenager I would love to see the Phantom of the Opera play one day and hopefully you too, live. | Comments: | WHen I was 12 I first heard Michael sing in Phantom. I was hooked and now own numerous albums, videos of interviews and performances as well as a letter from Michael himself. Not only is he incredibly talented, but to care for humanity the way he does speaks volumes about the character of this man. The last time I saw him perform I was in tears, just to be able to see him live. Hopefully I'll have that chance again one day! Cheers! |

I was really exited because i had stared as Christine in this musical in a production my singing coach was putting on. i am in vocal training in opera and i wish to prusue this talent as a career. i also now the phantom off by heart. i could just write it all down here, but im affraid that would take to long. pardon my spelling.......im not the best in the world.(day in holywood..he he ). it would be an honner for you to put back a response....until next time...he's there the phantom of the opera( The phantom of the opera is there inside my mind) Respectfully Yours Bree Ann T......... have a nice one |
