I moved to Scotland from Ohio seven years ago and am always homesick...but I grew up listening to Michael, and when I walk down the street here listening to him on my mp3, it feels like there's an old friend from home with me! He was kind enough to write and congratulate me on my marriage a couple of years ago, so I keep his little autographed picture next to my desk at work. What a guy. :)

Just recently saw The War Lover for the first time and really enjoyed it, not just for Michael but for Steve McQueen as well! Nice to see something 'new'.

Michael, if you record again, I wonder if you'd consider 'Till I Hear You Sing Again' from Love Never Dies...the one great song in the musical. And Ramin Karimloo is lovely but I keep wondering how our quintessential Phantom would sing it!

After my mom talked about how great you were in Phantom, i never paid attention. But one night i became curious to see you perform. So when i saw you, you blew my mind! I love the way you sing and perform! Brilliant and will always be a fan forever!

I just came home sick from school, in the middle of PE. i got home and checked the mail box. i saw a letter addressed: To Miss Yvette Jackson. I started screaming and jumping around like a headless chook! i was so amazed by the letter that I recieved from The Angel of Music. And I tell you Michael, I will not use your picture as a dartboard! :-P You have made me feel better already and I can't wait to show your autograph to my Phantom on Friday! This is the best day of my life so far :)
Thankyou for sharing the happieness, I Blu-Tacked the picture to my wall where I can always see it ( I havn't been sleeping well at all for the past 2 months so it could help!).

I must be the newest fan. I was only familiar with his American movies, never heard the Phantom score until very recently. I was immediately hooked and am catching up with this work. I was impressed that he's so honest about himself and open about his spiritual side. I hope he just keeps on goind and going like the energizer bunny!

Went and saw your concert at Coolum on the Sunshine Coast, took my ten year old son. Just woundering when or if you will be coming to Australia to do another concert, really enjoyed the concert at Coolum.

Have been following you since your TV appearance in Some Mothers Do Have Em, as well as a great actor your voice is, well can't put it into words.

Hope you can make it back to Australia sooner then later.

Our favorite movie you ever did was Condor Man! You were great! I've often wondered if they ever did a Condor Man II. Did they? I know the end of the moview was set-up for one! I can't find where they did but would love to know if they did! Thanks for all you do for the children!

My son just received your autographed picture I purchased from your charity(Thanks Roxie). He was overwhemed. He is a fan as well as I am (for many years). We saw Phantom in Cleveland and the actor who performed your role was not what my son ( age 11 at the time)thought the character should be doing on stage. There was a meet and greet for Pediatrics Aids Fundraiser which we attended. He went right to the actor and just told him how he felt about his performance. I glad that the actor was ok with hearing "That's not how Micheal Crawford did it." Even though my son never saw you perform it. Now my son is a Theater Arts Major but not singing but comedy. Thank you for the choices you have made in your career that makes it so easy for families to enjoy your work.

I like your voice very much, but I will not start praising you, because some things cannot possibly be expressed by words. Everybody knows that you were the best Phantom ever and that all the interpretations of the role after you were inspired by your performances. You are even mentionned in High School Musical 1, even though I doubt it is a positive fact.I am a fan of the Phantom of the Opera in general, I love the novel and the various adaptations on the screen. I am planning to write a book about the various adaptions of the Phantom of the Opera. Along with Lon Chaney, Claude Rains, and Charles Dance, you are my favorite Phantom. I regret I was born too late to see you in the role of the Phantom. Still, I can listen to CDs and watch short videos. You really have (or had, I dunno) a magnificent voice and I like your acting very much. Your singing is a hundred times better than Gerard Butler's (the poor, he didn't get a chance). It's a shame they didn't make a movie earlier.

I'm looking forward to becoming a member of the MCIFA, and I also was able to get a copy of your autobiography. I'm currently waiting for both to arrive in the mail. I just missed you in Phantom by the time my mom was able to take me you were not playing the part anymore. I also went to Las Vegas to see EFX and I just missed you there to, you were injured I do believe. I was able to see you in concert when you came to Michigan and I really enjoyed your performance, I wouldn't shut up about it I think I drove my family crazy talking about it. I plan to write you a letter in the near future I have alot more to write. I hope you can some day come back to Michigan for either a concert or production of some sort :)

Dear Micheal, I Have been a fan of yours since I first you singing songs on the radio from phantom of the opra. I said what a beautiful voice. So every time I went into a music shop I came home with one or two your albums. I was able to collect ten plus Phantom and a Christmas album. I also read your autobiography. I really enjoyed it. You ,I ,and my husband grew up in the same era. so I understood were you were coming from in certain chapters. Are you still making albums. If not at least I have ten that I can enjoy. I remember the night you had a consert on the PBS TV channel. My husband came and said to put this channel and he wouldn't tell me why and there you were . I have that album. I still you should have played the Phantom in the movie. The scenes are beautiful but the actor who played the Phantom couldn't hold a candle to you when it came to singing. Hello Michael, My name is Danielle Brown and I am a huge fan of yours. I think you have an awesome voice and was awesome as the Phantom. I saw my first Phantom Of The Opera in 1997 in KC Mo. Brad Little played the Phantom and Kimilee Bryant played Christine and I cried. I loved the music and the show. I have been blessed to see the Phantom 6 times and when they were here in April 2009 KC I saw it twice. I can never see the Phantom too many times. I really excited about the new sequel coming out. I arrived here today after hearing Michael singing 'all I ask of you'. My mam loved Michael, when I was growing up and my idiot friends were talking about Frank Spencer my mam said 'he is a talented man' people often mistake to person for the character and I felt privileged because we knew the difference and enjoyed the slapstick. My mam was a huge fan of Michael in a serious way and loved it when he was cast in the phantom of the opera, it was like the whole street knew it was a case of 'I told you so'. So, Michael, if you ever read these things,thank you!

I just went through the holidays again listening non stop to your Christmas album. I was given your album 4 years ago, and I get chills every time I listen to it. I knew nothing of you when I received the album, but knew that you were one of the true vocal genius's of all time. Putting away the holiday decorations, I had to put your album away again for another year. I was so sad, I decided to look up your information and see if you had any other recordings. Much to my delight, there are many. My daughter lived in New York for a time and said you are very well known! Imagine how thrilled I was. I am buying any of your music I can find on line. Thank you for giving me so much pleasure during the holidays for the last several years. I wish I knew more about where the Holiday album was recorded. Was it a play, or a concert? Dear Michael.I have been a big fan of yours in the last five years. I remember Phamtom of Opera opening when i was a teenager, but unfortunatley didn't pay too much attention to it at the time. Since then my taste in music has changed and i am now mad about musicals and am obsessed with Phantom. I have seen the musical twice,but didn't get to see you starring in it. My friend Colin wrote to you back in August last year telling you how inspirational you are to me and how you have helped me so much with my aspirations. You brought music into my life and for that I am eternally grateful.

Hi Michael I have just auditioned for BGT and told the producer that you are my hero he said that he had never heard anyone say that you was their hero before and started to ask me why? Well the truth is you have always been an inspiration to me and many others and I told him this he then asked me too sing another song from the Stage as you was my hero and he had enjoyed my previous song. So I sang "Love changes everything" and he asked me to go and sing it live infront of the tv cameras and others waiting to audition. I got a round of applause hopefully one day I might be able to meet you if I dont get voted off. All the best Michael if you actually read this we miss you visit us.

I first saw you when I was really young in "Condorman" I loved that movie, then I saw "Hello Dolly" and then the "Phantom" and WOW. I guess I've always been an on-and-off Michael Crawford fan; I first heard part of the original cast album of Phantom of the Opera in my 8th grade choir when I was 12 or 13, and that was the first time I was introduced to that wonderful voice! And of course, I heard it every Christmas with that great rendition of O Holy Night!
I recently became interested again when I saw that Phantom documentary on Ovation. I found a Youtube clip of Music of the Night, and that lovely voice hooked me again!! Also, the covers of the Disney songs are outstanding! And then there were the Hello Dolly clips in WALL-E, which I also loved...
Is Michael still performing? I have a feeling he's probably enjoying retirement now, and if so, all my best to him. If in fact he's still touring, may I suggest a concert in Arizona?

Anyway hello to you Michael and I hope someday you will be touring again. My wife and I saw you years (can't remember how long ago) ago at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston,MI and we were so thrilled by it. Hope to see you again.

I've been a fan for years but sort of drifted away. Then, I saw the Ovation airing of Phantom of the Opera behind the Mask and have a renewed and stronger admiration for his talent. His music takes me places. It's hard to explain but thank you Michael.
