I have just finished reading your book,yes I know it's been around for years but it's the first chance I've had to read it as my mother kept it among her book collection. I've always been a fan & have your CD's in my music collection.You certainly are a gifted singer,actor & writer.I saw Phantom some years ago in Melbourne it was excellent but how wounderfull it would have been to see you play the Phantom.Thank you for all the pleasure you have given us over the years & letting us into your life story in the book. All the very best to you & hope we will see you return to Australia some time.

Saw Michael in Wizard of Oz on 17th April.....Fantastic!! As Was the Show, Michael has still got it!! His voice as he sang Bring Me The Broomstick of the Wicked Witch of the West was so strong!He came out and signed autographs for about 25 mins afterwards and was so nice posing with us all,Congratulations to him for such a great comeback, hope we see him entertaining us for many years to come.

Dear Michael

I have no idea whether you actually read these but I hope you do as I wanted to tell you what an inspiration you are to me. I saw you last night in the wizard of oz for my 27th birthday and it was wonderful. I thought the show was magical and you make a perfect wizard of oz. Like you I have been diagnosed with m.e. since last year and it has been very tough. I have made alot of progress and hope to make a full recovery. I am inspired knowing you came through it and could return to doing what you love and were born to do. I am so glad I was able to have enough energy to come and see you last night. Good luck with the rest of the show. I will be telling everyone to see it.

Although he has done many things, I love Mr Crawford as Frank Spencer. I watched it every Sunday I think it was when I was little and it made me feel better seeing someone else who also got shouted at aswell. Now the proud owner of the 12 hours worth of Some Mothers on DVD. :o)))

I love you in Some Mothers do have Them and you are great at doing your own stunts and i love the episode with you on the rollersskats and the bus and when you went you the truck.

watched again on dvd frank spencers legendary rendition of "early one morning. shortly followed by his "vesuvius" i would go to butlins anywhere on earth to see him do this live... absolute genius.

Some years ago I had watched you on TV in England as a Teenager before coming to Australia. I absolutely addored you character of "The Phantom" in the opera of that name. In recent years I have come to understand that opera more and more as my own marriage broke up and I realised that my life has been very much like wanting to meet Mr Right but being maddied to Mr Wrong who I spent 34 years with before realising this thanks to you beautiful performance as "The Phantom". I have been greatly comforted by your Album which I only brought about 2 years ago "On Eagle's Wings". During the heartache of the past two years your album has bought me great comfort and also had the effect on me I know you wanted to put over to people. I have found the love of my life in "Our Lord's" comfort. I feel I am literally under His Wing and when I can't cope with this heartache I turn to him and talk to him. Thank you so much for putting this absolutely gorgeous album together. Every song has a hidden message in it which the more I listen to it the more I understand the meaning of the words which gives me even more comfort.

At 63 yrs. old I'm volunteering with Amory High School Musicals, Amory, MS to produce a local high school version of "Phantom." We are the FIRST and ONLY high school group in the mid-south performing "Phantom" - in spite of the facts that this group of students has no funding, no formal performing arts program, no funded staff - It is ALL VOLUNTEER and BIG heart and big dreams for our student! We have a "young Michael Crawford" in the Phantom lead and a fabulous Christine and Carlotta - all 17 years old and blowing it away. We are bringing so much needed artistic opportunity to young and old in our rather poor community. One of our former high school musical students is performing at the NY Met Opera in March! WOULD YOU PLEASE SEND OUR STUDENTS a "break a leg" MESSAGE TO ENCOURAGE THEM? This would mean the world to them - just a word from you. Their performances are Feb. 17/18/19/22/24. Hello michael i went to see the wizard of oz preview last night the effects were amazing enjoyed all of it especially the wizard you , dorthory and the wicked witch. I met you out side the theatre 09 feb, it was great to meet you i grew up watching some mothers do ave them i told you that but said cant belive iam still watching it hope it didnt seem rude i meant some people stop after so many years , i was too young to go to see you as phantom that would of been amazing ....seen bits on dvd you tube i can say you were the best panthom with ramin a close second currently in love never dies.. sorry message so long all the best wish you a happy time at the pallidium and good health

I've been a fan of Michael Crawford since 10 when I first watched The Phantom of the Opera with my parents at Broadway. It was love at first sight! And I've been collecting MC's albums and memorabilia since then. Now, my 10-year old daughter, (who is now TV and theater performer here in Manila) loves to listen to Michael's songs...

To Michael, you've been an inspiration to me. Actually, I owe my love with theater to you. I used to be a theater performer at Repertory Philippines when I was still young... well it all started when I fell in love with the voice behind the phantom mask. And now my kids are into theater and I'm glad you became a big influence to us. More power MC and hope to see you singing here in Manila very soon!

My 26yr old daughter gave me the "Some Mothers Do 'Av Em"DVD Gift box for Xmas. I always enjoyed them and just as much again recently with my 22 yr old son. You are indeed an incredibly gifted person. The world is a different place now and it was great to see such a generous human being like Frank back on the screen. There was such an innocence and vulnerability about him with a gentleness and softness. It is a blessing the work you do for charity and the light and healing you give to others with the gift of laughter and pleasure you bring to so many people is wonderful; you are a legend. I had thought of a lighthouse as a symbol for a way of helping others without any prior knowledge of the Lighthouse Foundation. It is great to know there are people like you out there and you have helped to restore my faith, because they were becoming very scarce indeed. I saw you in Barnum in 1982. The very best of luck in the Wizard of Oz and that light you have and share may it shine brightly in your performances and for many, many years to come. Just came across you web site, totally enjoyed it, I watch you perform in Phantom of the Opera and we just had a marathon of Some Mothers Do Have Them, amazing how you did most of your stunts, keep up the good work, from one of your fans from Down Under.

I too watched the Transiberian Orchestra Christmas special, and replayed O Holy Night over and over again. It is still in our dvr, and may well be for a long time! I just pulled out my dvd of Phantom and just cannot get enough of that wonderful voice. I hope your show will come to our state. I wouldn't miss it for the world.

You have one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard. Phantom of course is my favorite but when you sing "O Holy Night" it is wonderful and I do play it more than once at a listening.

Dear Michael,

I just watched Trans-Siberian Orchestra "The Ghost of Christmas Eve" while my family decorated the tree.

I had to replay your performace of "O Holy Night" 3 times. In all honestly, the tree fell over (full of ornaments and lights) while replaying a second time. After setting the tree back up, repairing ornaments, and grabbing a rock from the garden to hold the tree in place, I watched your performance without interruption a second time.

I must say this is the best performance of this song I've ever heard and ranks in the top 3 vocal performances I've seen. It was just amazing and inspiring - from mic technique to vocal control - simply perfect! Thank you.
